The project for new Subway Line D in Rome is designed by ABDR Studio, which commissioned to Kei_en the interior design: platforms, underground accesses, gates and info point.
The idea was to create a fluid physical environment in relationship with flows, typical of a station. The tunnel is coated by undulated panels that covers the plant along the concave walls. Furthermore this kind of structure creates a sequence of sits in some points and garbage bins in others, directly integrated with the coated wall.
Between the platform and access, there is a parallelepiped structure, which was been thought as a shaped box containing services.
