Before KENDESIGN©, the studio was known as kei_en.studio. Kei_en was the name chosen by a computer after searching for a free email account.

Kei_en.enzocalabresedesignstudio was founded in Pescara in 1998 by Enzo Calabrese and quickly gained recognition in the fields of architecture and industrial design in Italy and abroad.

 

In 2023, kei_en was closed and

“K_ENDESIGN © enzocalabresestudio & Partners” was born. It is managed by its founder, architect Enzo Calabrese, who is the architectural and design director, as an expression of continuity with architect Enzo Calabrese’s research work in the fields of architecture and urban planning, as well as interior and industrial design.

The studio’s research and professional activity today translate into refined and confident projects, the fruit of meticulous work on form and its underlying languages, capable of expressing coherent and poetic content, as well as technological, functional, and performance-oriented.

 

KENDESIGN ©’s architecture is the result of an analytical process that elaborates on various environmental, cultural, social, and economic inputs that influence the project.

The pursuit of architectural language is always accompanied by applicable refinement and the ability to manage the project in all its phases: from feasibility studies to master plan design, urban redevelopment, and architectural development in all its phases. KENDESIGN © adopts an integrated and sustainable architecture approach, in which dialogue and management between experts are fundamental.

In recent years, the studio has expanded into a broad international market, consolidating a network of professionals specialized in various disciplines for the management of complex projects.

Several commissions stem from the excellent results achieved in public and private design competitions.
